In October 2005 Mercy Corps Indonesia contracted Water & Stone for the design and development of two websites, Mercy Corps Indonesia and Mercy Corps Aceh.

The creation of Aceh website happened under tight time constraints as the site needed to go online before the one year anniversary of the tsunami on December 26th, 2005. The Aceh website was launched on time, even though it required late nights and hard work on the side of Water & Stone as well as Mercy Corps to make it happen.

I found Water & Stone very professional and service oriented to work with. They helped us find ways to turn our rough vision into a well defined reality, delivered the website completely to our specifications, and were open to developing new ideas and making changes during the implementation phase beyond the original scope of work. The work relationship with the whole team was very friendly and highly pleasant; especially Nalisa who was my main contact was a real pleasure to work. I would be happy to do another project with Water & Stone again anytime and can absolutely recommend them.

Mercy Corps works amid disasters, conflicts, chronic poverty and instability to unleash the potential of people who conquer impossible odds. Currently, the organization's 2,100 staff worldwide reach 7 million people in more than 35 countries. Mercy Corps is a nonprofit organization with headquarters offices in Portland (Oregon), Seattle (Washington), Cambridge (Massachusetts), Washington, DC, Edinburgh (Scotland) and Hong Kong (China). Since 1979, Mercy Corps has provided $1 billion in assistance to people in 81 nations. Over 92 percent of the agency's resources are allocated to programs that help people in need.
